Mo is a Real Estate Team Leader who operates out of Nashua, NH. He started his journey with Real Estate B-School years ago, before leaving and deciding to come back. After his start down the road to Real Estate in 2001, Mo was laid off from his job at Fidelity. Growing tired of the corporate world, he decided to follow in the footsteps of a friend. It wasn’t an easy journey at first, but he is now on track to sell 184 homes this year.
Around the time Mo chose to start with Real Estate B-School, his biggest focuses were in agent accountability and generating leads. On the way, he has taken on some agents that went from 0 transactions to 18 in their first six months.
Working day and night and every weekend was taking its toll on his business. One of the biggest takeaways we can learn from Mo’s journey is the importance of hiring the right people and putting them in the right seat. Each person you add who fits your culture or the one you are working to build, will increase your team’s effectiveness with clients and eventually help you accomplish your goals.
As this helped his business, he started to see his relationship with his wife improving as a side effect. He even shaved off unnecessary expenses that allowed him to have more time and focus, like something as small as his cable bill.
Cutting down on expenses is something that can help anyone from the small business owner to the multi-millionaire. Mo cut back on $900 a month in expenses, which adds up to over $100,000 over the course of 10 years!
Clarity, tracking his expenses,increasing his ‘social proof’ in places like Google and Zillow, and familiarizing himself with the marketing tools from Real Estate B-School has been important in getting Mo to where he is today.
