Apps are a great way for us to stay organized, keep ourselves accountable, and keep track of our commitments. As technology progresses and life gets even more chaotic, the notion that apps can change your life has never been more important.
With that, here’s a list of my favorite apps!
- Strides (iOS Only)
Keep track of all your routines and habits - I’ve got mine full of my routines like drinking water, doing push-ups, and reading my Bible. Strides is a great way to keep track of your routines and even hold yourself to them when you forget or get behind.
This is a great app to practice daily meditation. If you’re not into meditation, this is also a great way to learn how, and get used to the practice of daily discipline and clearing your mind.
This is a good morning christian meditation app for guided meditation every morning from a christian perspective. It’s a lot like headspace, but it’s really good if you’re a believer.
- YouVersion (Bible app)
YouVersion is one of the best bible apps I’ve used. It has great guided reading plans and daily devotions, as well as good notes - all in a free app you can download on any device.
- Five Minute Journal
If you’ve followed the podcast, you know I sing the praises of this app frequently. A huge help in practicing gratitude, the single most important ingredient to true fulfillment.
Audible is easily one of my favorite apps to use - the library of books available on it is incredible. I never read books - instead, I listen to books while I walk or run, while I drive, or when I’m working out.
- G Suite
The G Suite and Google products have been incredibly useful to me, so much so that I don’t even use the native calendar and email apps on my phone. I love the ability for all of my devices and calendars and inboxes to be synchronized.
Hangouts is a really clean and easy way for me to stay in touch with my team virtually. Running a virtual business can be difficult, so having easy lines of communication with my employees has been massively beneficial.
- Turbo Scan
This might seem silly, but I love having this scanner app on my phone - it enables me to take photos of a document and convert it to a PDF with searchable text, all right on my phone. It makes scanning documents so much easier!
This is one of the last apps I’ll mention - but this app works to keep you secure by generating passwords for you to use on different websites, all with one master password. You can even share passwords with people, even without giving them access to the actual password.
These apps are all in my library of different tools I use to stay productive and maximize my efficiency, but the beauty of technology is that you can customize your apps to serve you in whatever ways you need them to. Feel free to share what your favorite apps are that help you do what you do more effectively!
