How to Establish a Virtual Cadence with Your Team

If you didn’t have a tight team cadence before, now is a great opportunity to dial things in. If your team doesn’t remain calm through this storm, they may end up going back to where they worked before Real Estate.

Your salespeople have to maintain cadence so that they can CRUSH the shift that we are going to see here in the coming months. Here are a few tips to get you started:

MAINTAIN A SCHEDULE

It’s so easy to fall out of a schedule during this time, being at home with the kids and the distractions. If you allow yourself to get out of a cadence with your new business development efforts, you will lose this game. Commit to a schedule and stick to it! If something isn’t on your calendar, it just won’t happen.

VIRTUAL TEAM MEETINGS

Increase communication with your team using an app like Zoom. Bring energy to these virtual meetings, because it will take more effort to keep your team engaged long distance. Start your meetings with a positive focus to protect your mindset, and establish a regular cadence to maintain accountability. 

VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS

You need to be able to hold a buyer consultation completely virtually and get signed paperwork. Using a service like Docusign can help - so there is no absolute need to have in-person meetings. Being able to leverage this technology in your business is huge - so you must embrace it! 

HIGH LEVELS OF COMMUNICATION

One of the best ways to stay in touch with your team and maintain momentum during the day is to use an app called Voxer. Make sure to time block your availability, but using apps to increase your communication is critical during this time of uncertainty. 

DON’T STOP LOOKING FOR TALENT

There will be many agents that will let fear get the best of them during these uncertain times - and you have an opportunity to show them the way. If you are able to continue to generate new business, there will be agents that want to be a part of your team.

Think of how you can redefine your business by taking it virtual! This is a chance to protect yourself, pivot into the right direction, and profit.
